I have been playing guitar and bass for about 30 yrs. and have played a lot of high quality instruments. This Squier deluxe dimension bass v I just received is unbelievable! Set up was decent out of the box, fret work on par with my Fender standard tele. Good active electronics and an actual Fender hi-mass ( Leo Quann style) bridge. I am very pleased with this bass to say the least! I plan on ordering the 4 string version next! On the subject of ordering, got my bass in 2 days! Nice.

.I was looking for a low price bass to play beach jigs with. I got some Fender Quality, a good playing bass that I can get a lot of sounds with. You have to dial in a lot of bass to get a rounded sound but it is there.
I got a lot of bass for the price. I'm very happy. To make it play a little better, I did dress the fret ends and round the rose wood fret board to take away the sharp edge some ( used the wife's finger nail file and some super fine sand paper super . I do this to all new guitars to make them feel like an old friend. Now I'm very happy. 18v up grade is all that is left. AWSOM!!!
