I have 3 peavey 6505+ heads. I have now gone through all three of the foot switches the new heads came with. I have mesa foot switches.... i use them the same way and they havnt broken. i have engl foot switches, and they havnt broken. All three peavey foot switches have broken. I spoke with customer service and they seemed unmotivated to do anything. They simply told me to buy a new one. "its not a problem were having" they said. The heads are dependable..... but there is nothing worse than a foot switch messing up a gig because you cant change channels at the right time.

.this is not the right pedal for the 6505+112 I'm not disappointed,it's a nice pedal, just not the right one.

.The size and shape of this foot controller are just extremely awkward for my pedalboard. they couldve easily but the switches closer together without it being cluttered but it works very well and is made of metal. also its more of an amp problem but they shouldve used 1/4 inch not 7 pin din cable. probably just so you have to buy their pedal not a different one
