The 2/3-scale JS1x Dinky has a poplar body, speedy bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement, and 12-radius rosewood fingerboard which hosts 24 jumbo frets and Jacksons classic sharkfin inlays.

The intonation on this guitar was horrible. It made playing a cord, sound so bad. I adjusted the intonation as much as possible. but the bridge is too far back to really intonate it. I have the saddles all the way up and its better, but chords still sound out of tune. also the tuners are horrible and really make it almost impossible to tune this guitar. Probably would have been good to put 3 screws in the neck instead of 3, because when you take your hand off the neck, the tuning changes. the sound of the guitar is great, the feel of the guitar is great. it feels less like a toy then other brands of childrens guitars, But if you cant play a chord, its kind of useless. so frustrating. Im probably gonna send it back.

.The quality of low cost import guitars is really amazing these days. I bought one of these for my 10 year old to start lessons, and I was surprised by the build quality and the sound of the pickups. My only gripe is that the tuners feel cheap. They are probably the only things that I will replace.
