I bought mine about 6 years ago for my Les Paul Classic. Unfortunately these are for the Nashville Bridges and I didn't really want to drill my baby. But I put it on my Ibanez for a few years and have recently moved it to my PRS copy. Im the sole guitar player in my band and use it to play acoustic and electric in the same time. It sounds really good with a preamp and direct to the house, or an acoustic amp. Since I don't play alot of acoustic songs in our gigs, I play them all with this, can you say less gear to bring?It doesn't sound exactly like an acoustic, but then neither do piezos in acoustics either. But everyone knows it is an acoustic sound so it really does the trick. I really wish Fishman would come out with a vintage bridge spacing model, and a left handed strat model but they don't have any plans the last I checked. I'd really like to put these on all my other guitars too.

.I rarely use this for it's intended use as an acoustic pickup. Our band plays 50-60s music that requires a lot of harmony backup vocals. Unfortunately only two of us sing. I use a TC Helicon S-1 Intelligent Harmony effects box to get 3 and 4 part harmony vocals behind our lead singer. Our singer uses Voice Play and sometimes adds harmony to his effects. Both require an instrument (my guitar) to "tune" the harmony parts to key. We had problems with the piezo Helicon signal magnetic bleeding into the magnetic signal back to the amp, and also no tuning of harmony vocals during acapella parts. I installed the Fishman bridge to my guitar and use a stereo cord. There is always a clean, strong piezo signal going to the Helicon and separate magnetic signal to guitar amp. I can turn my magnetic volume down during acapella parts and still have the piezo signal going to the Helicon. Works great for this unintended use!
