I upgraded the cheap battery box found in my Ibanez SR bass. The original has a flimsy 9V connector. This was a direct drop in, no mods necessary, and high quality. If you're modding your instrument, this is an easy and inexpensive upgrade!

.I used to have to remove electronic plate on back of bass when battery went dead. I would basically have to stop playing, I can get full use of 9v and quickly change when goes out now. A must for older guitars that don't have a quick change battery box. Just flip open, pop it out, and pop it back in seconds. Snaps in and only will go in one way. Very easy and good contact points. I had a Luthier install it profession, Eighty dolls

.Had trouble keeping the terminals in contact with the 9v battery. Had to modify the metal terminals
