Thought this would be handy on stage as several guitars and other string insturments are used. Turns out, still have to carry multiple stands as this unit only holds two. A third guitar may fall out or even knock others upon removel. Not at all comfortable with the way guitars (electric or acoustic) sit in the unit. If this is truely a Fender product, they dropped the ball on this one. Guess if I wanted to hold three guitars in one stand, I should have ordered the 5.

.Got this to reclaim some space in an upstairs music room where the individual stands were simply in the way all the time. It easily went together in about 5 minutes, the 2 tools needed were supplied (hex-key & little wrench). Now 3 guitars are against the wall & more secure than in individual stands. Don't know if I'd loosen it to fold & take to each gig, but if hosting a jam session & being there all day would definitely use it to keep my stuff out of harm's way. Properly assembled the guitars lean back against the back-rail & are quite secure. I did put a decorative piece of cloth down along the bottom because I have one Strat with a nitro finish that likes to chip or rub if you even look at it cross-eyed or put it against rubber/foam surfaces. This rack is a good solution.

.My last one got stolen so I had to replace this one. A good stand for multiple guitars with a nice cushion on the bars.
