The gloss finish had streaks in it. I think they put the frame in the plastic bag before the shellack was dry. There is a run on the finish, also two very small dings. The rubber on the guitar hanger had a tear on it. The guitar supports have tabs that are supposed to fit into the frame. Ya right! The Chinese manufacturer apparently has no quality control in place. I got free shipping yet The Custom Guitars' Friend return policy says they will deduct the shipping charges from my credit if I send this defective product back. Why don't they charge back the shipping costs to the manufacturer or the supplier who sent them this substandard product instead of making the customer pay? Oh, to add insult to injury, I received this order 2 days ago. I just got in to write this review and I see that the price has dropped significantly. Ugh!

.I was looking for a nice stand to replace my metal stand which sometimes can get knocked over. This is a really nice looking guitar stand and it showcases my guitar. I purchased one as a gift for a friend and they loved it as well. Perfect gift for a good friend. Pricey for what it is in materials, however the design and stability is worth the extra money.

.I wanted to purchase these for my guitar playing friends for birthdays. Custom Guitar's Friend was back ordered and kept saying, "purchase now. expect delivery in 1-2 months." So, I waited almost a year. And, the price doubled when it became available. It is still the most beautiful guitar/bass stand on the market for the musician who has everything including style and class!
