My Fender "Jag" was dated 1 May 62.

I am the second owner - purchased in spring 1965.

I decided a complete "overhaul" was necessary - new strings, adjust the neck, check out the pickups, replace "foam" under the pickups and the "mute," etc. I found that the rear (bridge) pickup was functioning intermittently.

I also had to replace the main volume control - original Fender of course.

I thoroughly investigated new pickups and chose the Fender vintage replacement.

My Jag now sounds better than ever.

I would recommend these to anyone refurbishing their Jag as the only way to go.

If you are going to work on your Jag be sure to check the Fender website for information on how to setup your guitar - pickup height, etc.

PS: I saved the old pickups and volume control and placed them in my original "tweed" case to preserve the history of my vintage guitar!
