Purchased these for an MIM Fat Strat im revamping.
Since i don't use the trem i decided to basically make it
into a hardtail by simply removing the 3 original springs
and installing the 5 springs. Noticed an immediate difference
in playability and the guitar stays in tune much longer. Perfect fit.
I will be getting another set for my American Series HSS.

.I replaced the original 3 springs in my son's Mexican Strat. He uses heavier strings, and this solved several action and intonation issues.

.I wanted to go from 9's to 10's on my Strat to see what it would sound like. But the bridge lifted under the increased pressure from the fatter strings and that raised the string height in the area of the 12th fret and above. The answer was to stiffen up the bridge by adding 5 springs rather than the stock 3 springs. Problem solved...

.What can one say about tremolo tension springs? They work! I rarely use the tremolo on my strat so I decided to just throw the maximum 5 springs in to anchor it down.

If your old springs are getting spongy and weak, you can fix your problem for $7. Can't beat that! haha

.Nothing wrong with the product, but I was hoping these springs would put my Strat bridge back where it belongs. It didn't do the trick. Now I'm shopping for heavier springs.
