.This is the best quality gig bag that I have ever owned in the price range, you get far more than you pay for. The bigger pocket is large enough to hold a few songbooks, and the smaller pocket is perfect for your cables, picks, tuner, and what have you. It is would be a great gig bag for a person taking lessons, and has plenty of dense padding to soak up the bumps and jostles from everyday use. It holds my Strats and Tele perfectly, just as a Fender product should, and I am completely satisfied with it.

.I do Open Stages lately, and dragging a heavy, hardshell case is cumbersome. This is a tasty gig bag in that it does not allow the instrument to slide around inside it. It is cut for Strats and Teles with no flopping around. For the price, it is WELL worth it.

.I've been using Fender gig bags for 20 or so years. They have been a practical light weight way to transport my Strat from show to show. This new one is thin and flimsy and does not provide adequate protection for even a cheap guitar carried in a car.

.it works and is fine for my needs, i would say 5 star gig bag for lower end strats, but anyone with a high end strat should be using a real hard case anyway, but it serves its purpose and fits a strat very well for carrying a guitar with 4 star protection, im not sure if there is a gig bag that has truly 5 star protection, hence, my 4 star rating,
