Small and accurate. I just leave it on the headstock of my bass, banjo and steel guitar. Yes, I have multiples of these. Being small are unnoticeable on stage. Leaving them on the instrument they are always available.

.I quit playing when I entered the service back in the very early 60's, and have just now taken it up again. Back then, we tuned with a pitch-pipe. Temperature, moisture, etc., would change the tone of the pipe with a resultant mis-tuning of the guitar. This tuner is great! Read the instructions first, though - I was having a HECK of a time with it until I discovered it was set to a different instrument! Some comments on this complain that you cannot move the display sideways - I find, however, that merely moving the tuner on the headstock has the same effect, so this is not really an issue.

.The display is easy to see and the color changes are a great help in tuning. Also, much steadier indications than the more popular tuners. Only negative is that I like to mount it so that I can read the display on the back of the headstock rather than the top. But, mounted like that, it can't be articulated to be read with the display upright. Still, an good, inexpensive way to quickly tune your instrument.

.As Stated: poor quality, no durability.... poor design and weak plastic hinge points with one access switch to initiate any function. Not for me!

.I own a few of these. Bought a couple more when they were half price on Stupid Deal.
Especially like the way they light up when pitch is right.

.It's OK. I pretty much order a clip on tuner any time they have one on SDOTD...I have a lot of guitars. The single button on this tuner also toggles through the modes when it's on and you have to hold the button down for a few seconds to turn it off, but you may unintentionally switch modes. If you do...you have to toggle back through to chromatic mode: "C" in the bottom right corner. It's bright and easy to see, but not the most sensitive.
