I have been playing guitar since 1975 (OK, I'll admit I'm ancient! LOL) and I have been a constant Martin polish user since 1977. That in itself says a bunch. I have used two other polish products and still keep with Martin's. Why, do you ask? Martin's polish product removes all the finger buildup, oil, and other residues that one acquires on the neck, face, fretboard, and body without leaving its own residue in its place. I can spray this on a slighlty (or even really heavily) sticky neck and polish the dirt and grime completely away leaving a pristine neck. On the fretboard and strings it goes in deep and cleans out the finger grease and such while leaving only a helpful moisturizer to keep the board wood fresh and virtually in brand new shape. As to the strings, it removes the dead skin build common to strings and leaves nothing to mute or deaden the string tone. On the guitar face (the top of the guitar) it removes all the junk and leaves a clean surface. If you have a polished finish, it shines showroom new. If you have a matte finish, it cleans and leaves a penetrating moisturizer to keep the wood in awesome shape!

In short, I use Martin's guitar polish because it works and works very well - just like their instruments. Am I heavily biased about this product? Oh. yeah, but that comes from 38 years of using it regularly and seeing the same great results for that 38 years. If you need a great polish for your instrument, stop right now and just buy it!

.I've been using Martin polish on my guitars since 1977 and though I may switch or try other products for my guitars on occasion (i.e. strings, various brand cords, etc.) I will not compromise on Martin polish. Why? It works and works well. It doesn't leave a greasy or other coating on the guitar finish; it cleans and polishes in one cleaning (no need to go back again); a little 6 oz. bottle goes a long way - in other words, you don't need a gallon at a sitting to clean your guitar (unless of course, you only clean it when the tan, maple neck has turned black from all that stuff on your hands LOL). Simply put, it's the best, why mess and guess with the rest? Just buy it, use it, and be happy!!
