Attention Yamaha drum fans.

Up for auction is vintage Yamaha 8 round x 7 inch deep tom, made in Japan from the 1980s.
Serial and model number TT 508GA KN. All birch shell.

This is a very clean drum in hard to find true 8 inch diameter x 7 inch depth.
This particular series of drums were referenced in vintage Yamaha drum literature as the 5000 series -- made with black gloss wrap and split lugs in place of more traditional lacquer finishes and long vertical lugs.

The drum is very clean condition with no shell damage, no extra holes, no breaks in the wrap. Rich high gloss shine. Very clean chrome hardware with original hoops, t rods, lugs and tom mounting port.

Original natural birch finish shell interior - interior and bearing edges are in excellent condition.
Beautiful drum with an amazingly high tuning range.
