CTS 300K Linear Taper Long Shaft Pot (1) NEW

This is a brandnew CTS 300K linear taper long shaft pot. These are for productionLes Paul-type guitars with thicker carved tops, these will not fit GibsonHistoric Les Pauls. These work on tons of different guitars, typically withhumbucker and P90 pickups. The hole size requirement for the pots are3/8", the split shaft are fine knurled for US spec knobs, the threadedportion of the shaft is 3/4" (otherwise known as "long shaft"),which works for solid bodies with thick carved tops.

Use these to softenthe high end by lowering and widening the resonance peak of the pickups.In a 2 volume, 2 tone setup, using the 300K pots for the volume controlswill mimic the stock setup on most production Gibsons, and will tame the high endon particularly bright pickups/guitars.

These are the de-factostandard in guitar pots, best quality out there. For guitars withcheap, import pots, this is a must-have upgrade. As with most upgrades,it's the simple stuff that has the most impact, and this is no exception. Won't be disappointed.
