Product Description

The Cleanest one for less! Smoother, deeper woody tone than most '50s D18s and a pretty face! Ebony pins, bone saddle and nut, B. rosewood fingerboard and bridge, original pickguard, original keys, most of the original finish on top and back, no major cracks anywhere. New frets on a straight neck; action is 5/64" and 5/64" with light strings. Room to go lower at the saddle. Disclosures: neck is refinished,lower body side is refinished, the top is touched up around the lower side of the pickguard and the lower edge of sound hole where there is wear, there are two 3/4" cracks at outside edge of pickguard and three 1/8" cracks along lower edge of sound hole, all repaired, there is a 1&1/8" X 3/4" patch on the lower side bout, there was a helper strip on the bridge plate but it was removed years ago. All these things can be seen in the photos. I have owned this guitar for ten years and most often played it with fiddle groups. It is louder and more vintage sounding than almost any newer guitar. I am selling it to get something in rosewood. Comes with a new Martin TKL hard case.
